Steven lives in Helian's Glade and can usually be found somewhere in the gardens. Letters can be left on his bed, which is made of moss and several supernaturally large blooms, or the drawer filled stump where he keeps his belongings. He is responsive to network communications but prefers not to speak one on one over them.

Can't you just... stay with me?

[Steven shifts closer, his tail wagging lazily. He's trying to hold onto him again.]

We don't have to do stuff...

[hippocarnival]

I'm not leaving. [This is the warmest place in the castle. Although, he's suddenly unsure if kissing Steven is a good idea at all.]

He rolls over as he falls back to the ground, so he's leaning off Steven's side.] No matter what we're doing, I'm not going anywhere.

[Steven seems relieved to hear that, at least, and is quick to slide his arms around Yuya again.]

Thank you...

[He kisses Yuya's cheek.]

[Yuya's cheeks turn a little pink and he averts his gaze down. What if his skin is drugs, too. Steven hasn't--he shakes his head and squeaks out:] It's fine! As long as you're happy.

[There's only one way to find out! Steven nuzzles against Yuya's face again, one effect of the drug seeming to be that it makes him excessively tactile.]

I'm happy right now.

[At least he's soft. Yuya's not generally one to complain about cuddling.

Yuya tilts his head, so Steven's nuzzling the side of it.] You're cuddly, too... are you warm?

[gemigod]

Really warm.

[Steven generates a lot of body eat on a normal day, but with his fur, a sweater, two warmth generating blankets, and Yuya on top, he's actually passing through 'warm' all the way to 'hot'. He grabs at the base of his sweater, trying to pull tug it off.]

Are you?

[hippocarnival]

I'm--[He pauses, as he feels Steven shifting to pull his sweater off.] Not as warm as you, I guess?

[He shifts back, trying to put space between them so Steven actually has the ability to take his sweater off if that's what he wants.]

[The euphoria drugs also probably have something to do with it, making his body feel like it's glowing. Making it actually is, his white fur shimmering with warmth.

He peels off his sweater, and once it's pulled free, he just kind of fumbles with the fabric like he's too sleep to put it somewhere sensible. Instead, he just lays against Yuya.

Even if the heat is somewhat illusory, he's certainly not in any danger of freezing in such a cozy environment.]

Did you want to touch me?

[Yuya had wanted to touch his skin before, he distantly recalls.]

[Okay, after a minute Yuya reaches to help Steven tug it over his head and... well, it can just be a pillow now. Or would be, if Steven wasn't rolling over to follow Yuya. At first, Yuya simply watches him with faint amusement.

And then Steven says that, while they're so close, and Yuya sputters.] T-Touch you?

[gemigod]

Are your hands cold?

[He feels like his question clarifies his intent. Yuya was all about touching his body with his frigid hands not long ago. Steven fumbles to try to father Yuya's hands in his.]

[hippocarnival]

O... [Yuya breathes out slowly, turning his face away.] Oh.

[His hands are, in fact, no longer cold, but he definitely won't stop Steven from holding onto them.] I'm not cold.

[gemigod]

Okay...

[Steven sighs sleepily, hugging around Yuya's shoulders as the other boy's hands stay tucked against his chest. His tail flops back and forth, his hooves shifting against the blankets.]

[hippocarnival]

[Yuya gazes flickers to Steven, before he quicly looks away again.] Do... do you want me to touch you?

[He's got in handled in the other direction, probably?] Um. Be specific.

[gemigod]

Where...?

[He doesn't seem to be completely following. Where are the touches being offered?]

[hippocarnival]

Wherever you want! [He can't be the one to decide this it already feels like a dangerous line of questioning.]

[gemigod]

Oh...

[Steven had thought that Yuya wanted something specific before, but now he's just confused. Thankfully, that just means letting it slide.]

I dunno. This is fine.

[He nuzzles Yuya's neck.]

Okay... [Yuya reaches to rub his face, trying to make the blushing go down. Why is he even this embarrassed...] This is fine.

[Steven will spend the next indeterminant period of time snuggling and nuzzling, with barely a care in the world. It's comfortable here, and it's very easy to think of nothing when he lets his mind drift - nothing but the immediate sensations and comforts he's currently enjoying.

It's not until the fuzziness in his head begins to sharpen that he considers the need to do anything else. He becomes more still as the lightness fades.]

Yuya...

[It comes out as a murmur.]

Can I kiss you?

[Yuya, for his part, does nothing to dissuade Steven's nuzzling. No doubt he'll instead find himself secure in Steven's arms, his own limbs tangling around him as they lay together in the quiet and warmth.

It's a second after Steven speaks before he stirs, blinkly slowly as his gaze shifts over.] Uh... sure?

[For a moment, he's too distracted to consider the meaning of that.]

[Steven is still under the influence at this point, just beginning to sense its fade. It means it's easy not to think about the ramification of what he wants. Not thinking has been so wonderful. Why not continue to enjoy himself? Why let this end?

He pushes forward to kiss Yuya on the lips.]

[hippocarnival]

[Steven will be met with closed lips as he does no. It isn't a resistance, exactly--Yuya's lips are still puckered to meet Steven's, but it's chaste. Undemanding.]

[Steven doesn't know the mechanics of how this feeling works, only that it was brought on from being intimate with Yuya. He conflates the idea of the two things together, and so, he isn't even sure what needs to happen for it to continue.

He holds the kiss, as chaste as it is.]

[Kissing does feel nice... even if like this, Steven won't feel another rush of that euphoria come quite like he's anticipating.

Yuya closes his eyes, finding peace in this.]

[Steven won't push it further than that. Yuya seems happy, and though the euphoria is fading, it lingers enough that Steven can find himself settling, closing his eyes and embracing what's left. It isn't until the feeling has left him completely that his mood starts to turn.

Though he won't verbalize it, it becomes obvious that the effects have faded, as Steven seems more uncomfortable than he was before. Not with Yuya, but just in his own skin. Still, he stays curled with the other boy, staring into space and thinking about the ramifications of all this.]
