[It is kind of energizing, but it's not the reason that a shiver of excitement runs down Yuya's spine. It feels like Steven is welcoming it so he shifts forward, just an inch, pushing into his kiss with a little more force. Going slow, it's easier to breathe between movements, but Yuya's not known for stillness.]

[If Yuya wants to experiment, Steven isn't going to object, relaxing into the sensation. Of course, it doesn't help that as their interactions go on, he'll be feeling fuzzier and heavier, the warmth in his body gradually overtaking his ability to think straight.

The transition is gradually, and he almost doesn't notice that it's happening. Finally, his eyes flutter open, and he realizes how his head is swimming, although the idea feels kind of abstract.

He chuckles helplessly, distracting from their kiss.]

[The giggle does distract him, finally causing him to break their kiss with a soft gasp. His face is almost as red as his hair.]

It is good? [Despite himself, there's still hesitance in his voice.]

Yeah...

[He says it earnestly because it does, in fact, feel pretty damn good, just maybe not for the reasons Yuya is hoping for. He may recognize the tone as familiar, with Steven sounding a bit foggy and confused even as he seems happy.

Still, he remembers what they were just talking about, even as his thoughts blur.]

I just... feel funny...

... Funny? [His expression slips a little, staring Steven down. That airy tone is... unfortunately, familiar.] What's funny?

I feel all fuzzy.

[He laughs, squirming luxuriously beneath Yuya. His tail flops.]

Like, more than usual... haha...

Oh no. [Oh no.

Yuya jerks up suddenly, pulling away from Steven--and dragging his hands out from under his shirt.] Again? Why? Am I doing this?!

[Is he drugging Steven somehow without meaning to?? He didn't learn any drug magic!

... Did he.]

[Steven looks surprised and then disappointed, staring up at Yuya - like he can sense that something is wrong, but his increasingly dizzy mental state is making it hard for him to care.]

No... It's okay...

[He reaches up to try to pull Yuya back to him.]

[Yuya resists being pulled down, but if Steven decides to put his strength in it, he can't really stop him.] It happened when I kiss you, did it? How do you feel? It's like you're--drugged?

[Steven doesn't want to hurt or force Yuya, even like this, so when he resists he'll loosen up a bit - but that doesn't stop him from clumsily hanging off of the boy, trying to regain some of that warmth.]

I guess... I just feel... happy?

[He frowns, looking increasingly let down by the lack of cuddling.]

Isn't that how I'm supposed to feel with you?

You... yeah, but... [He licks his lips, apprehensive.] It's not a normal happy, is it? Because you seem really out of it.

[He can't deny feeling a bit cloudy, but this disappointment that his state is getting in the way of their happiness is stronger.]

What if I don't care...?

[He feels like he needs to try.]

... Uh. [Yuya blinks slowly, confused.] But you hate getting drunk?

[He folds his ears down. That sounds true, but with as good as he's on the verge of feeling, he can't imagine why.]

I guess... but...

[He shifts uncomfortably.]

It's not that big of a deal...

[Yuya's brow knits, though he does sink back down a little. He doesn't like Steven looking so disappointed.] Are you sure? I just... I don't know why it's happening, and I don't want to do anything to hurt you.

Can't you just... stay with me?

[Steven shifts closer, his tail wagging lazily. He's trying to hold onto him again.]

We don't have to do stuff...

I'm not leaving. [This is the warmest place in the castle. Although, he's suddenly unsure if kissing Steven is a good idea at all.]

He rolls over as he falls back to the ground, so he's leaning off Steven's side.] No matter what we're doing, I'm not going anywhere.

[Steven seems relieved to hear that, at least, and is quick to slide his arms around Yuya again.]

Thank you...

[He kisses Yuya's cheek.]

[Yuya's cheeks turn a little pink and he averts his gaze down. What if his skin is drugs, too. Steven hasn't--he shakes his head and squeaks out:] It's fine! As long as you're happy.

[There's only one way to find out! Steven nuzzles against Yuya's face again, one effect of the drug seeming to be that it makes him excessively tactile.]

I'm happy right now.

[At least he's soft. Yuya's not generally one to complain about cuddling.

Yuya tilts his head, so Steven's nuzzling the side of it.] You're cuddly, too... are you warm?

Really warm.

[Steven generates a lot of body eat on a normal day, but with his fur, a sweater, two warmth generating blankets, and Yuya on top, he's actually passing through 'warm' all the way to 'hot'. He grabs at the base of his sweater, trying to pull tug it off.]

Are you?

I'm--[He pauses, as he feels Steven shifting to pull his sweater off.] Not as warm as you, I guess?

[He shifts back, trying to put space between them so Steven actually has the ability to take his sweater off if that's what he wants.]

[The euphoria drugs also probably have something to do with it, making his body feel like it's glowing. Making it actually is, his white fur shimmering with warmth.

He peels off his sweater, and once it's pulled free, he just kind of fumbles with the fabric like he's too sleep to put it somewhere sensible. Instead, he just lays against Yuya.

Even if the heat is somewhat illusory, he's certainly not in any danger of freezing in such a cozy environment.]

Did you want to touch me?

[Yuya had wanted to touch his skin before, he distantly recalls.]

[Okay, after a minute Yuya reaches to help Steven tug it over his head and... well, it can just be a pillow now. Or would be, if Steven wasn't rolling over to follow Yuya. At first, Yuya simply watches him with faint amusement.

And then Steven says that, while they're so close, and Yuya sputters.] T-Touch you?
